Matthew Hale

Matthew Hale joined the firm in 2012 and has been practicing public accounting since 2005, with a strong focus on the construction and real estate development industries. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University in 2004 and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee in 2005.
With a client-centric approach, Mr. Hale delivers audit, review, and tax services primarily to businesses in the construction and real estate sectors. His expertise extends beyond traditional accounting, including extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, internal controls, and strategic tax planning. Known for his proactive guidance, Mr. Hale works closely with clients to identify tax-saving opportunities and implement tailored strategies that optimize cash flow. His technical proficiency and industry insight enable him to select and apply the most effective tax methods for each client’s unique circumstances.
Mr. Hale served as President of the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) in 2017 and 2018.
